	About IRISF64 IRISF64 is an online photography gallery introducing new and established photographers in a format that is functional and sophisticated in presentation. IRISF64 allows the artist to manage their own gallery pages and set their own prices. Photographers have to apply for a membership on IRISF64. The application involves sending us a link to your work to be reviewed by the curators. Successful applicants will then be able to register and pay a setup fee of US $50 using paypal, money order, or personal check. Photographers who become members of IRISF64 can recommend other photographers who will be able to subscribe without going through the review process. In this way we believe the members will have a direct and beneficial influence on the content of IRISF64 IRISF64 is very active in finding buyers for the member’s photographs. The curators have many contacts in the design, architecture, and film and television industries. IRISF64 will expose the work of its members to both a specific and wide audience. Our staff is committed to placing the work of our members with clients who are progressive and on the cutting edge of the market place. All images on IRISF64 are sold as photographic prints and high resolution downloads. Membership / Submission Review If you're interested in being part of IRISF64, go to Sign-up. If you already have a Activation Code enter it. If you do not have a Activation Code, use the Apply Now option to send us a link to your work for review. Once we have reviewed your work we will decide if it's right for IRISF64. If you are accepted we will contact you, you will be asked to pay a one-time US $50 Activation Fee. Uploading Images You have the option of uploading images to be sold as photographic prints and digital downloaded images. Your images must be in high quality JPEG format and at least 1500 x 1500 pixels along the shortest dimension. It is best to upload the largest posible image you can, 3000px or 4000px. Selling Prints and Digital downloaded files When a print or a digital image is sold, IRISF64 handles the transaction with the buyer. The buyer pays IRISF64, you are then notified of the sale and you then send the print to the buyer. Commissions, Payment and Usage You are free to set the price for each of your prints and digital image downloads. IRISF64 gets 30% of the sale price. For example, if you set the price to US $300, IRISF64 will get $100 and you get $200. If you have chosen to have your image available as a high resolution digital file, you can set the usage restrictions and price accordingly. If you are not use, set it to Available upon request and if a buyer is interested in a digital file we will work with you to negotiate the price and usage. At the end of month you will be paid either by cheque or paypal. Shipping and Preparation Shipping should not be included in the price and is added to the price based upon the location of the buyer. When shipping your images, take care in ensuring that it is well protected. If the print is smaller (ie. 8" x 10") shipping it flat (not rolled) with thick board front and back to protect it from bending. Mark the envelope clearly DO NOT BEND photographs inside, both sides. In the case of a large print (ie 20" x 24") shipping it in a tube is recommened. Always send your photographer with registered mail, this way the the recipient must sign for them, and you will know that the prints have been received. At no time do you transfer copyright or ownership of your photographs to IRISF64. You, as the photographer, must be the copyright owner of any photographs which you submit to IRISF64.com web site. You may not submit any public domain image to IRISF64.com web site. You as a member can only have one account. You must have satisfactory permission from any recognizable model or persons or property appearing in your photographs. If you are a photojournalist you may submit photographs which depict violence, political or religious controversy or any other matters of journalistic merit and social importance to IRISF64.com web site. However, IRISF64.com reserves the right to delete any such photographs which it deems unacceptable. You may submit nude photographs to IRISF64.com web site. However, You may not submit photographs depicting sexual activity. IRISF64.com reserves the right to delete any such photographs which it deems unacceptable. IRISF64.com will only accept the submission of photographs generated by a light gathering device. No other works of art are accepted by IRISF64. Submission of photographs of which the dominant characteristic is the undue exploitation of sex, or of sex AND one or more of the following subjects, namely, cruelty, horror, cruelty and violence, are not permitted on IRISF64.com web site are obscene and will be deleted at the discretion of site administration. This definition of obscenity is consistent with the definition of obscenity in the Criminal Code of Canada. While this definition might not coincide with your definition of obscenity it is the definition used for the purposes of IRISF64.com web site. Editing/Updating Person Information You may review, edit, update and correct any of your personal information at anytime. This can be done through the Profile section.
